Chloé Pompidou
Mar. 23Set inside the historic Pompidou Museum, Chloe’s F/W 23 fashion show and collection was inspired by Artemisia Gentileschi and Kettle’s Yard, home to Tate Museum curator Jim Ede and his wife Helen. GDS set out to design seating which spoke to traditional furniture designs of the 17th century as well as the 20th century art and design found in Kettle’s Yard. A stretcher connects the seat’s legs, formed to look like the bottom half of a human. This more traditional structure of joinery contrasts with the industrial, modernist building designed by Renzo Piano and Richard Rogers.
